This summer saw the release of Shovels & Rope: The Movie, a unique concert film that weaves together live footage and a storyline played out by actors. This is the second film project in which the couple has been involved — 2014's documentary about the band, The Ballad of Shovels & Rope, was well received on the indie film festival circuit.
