On Monday, Oct. 22, Greater Cincinnati music fans will be able to vote for a full slate of nominees for this year’s Cincinnati Entertainment Awards. But today we are happy to announce the nominees for three categories voted on by the CEA nominating committee.

Just as with the past two decades of CEA programs, the New Artist of the Year, Album of the Year and Artist of the Year categories are determined by the CEA nominating committee, which consists of local professionals and enthusiasts who work as writers, editors, broadcasters and other positions associated with local music. The committee also determines the final nominees in the other 15 CEA categories (which will be announced Monday), after an initial public nomination round.

Yesterday we announced the 2018 nominees in the Best Music Video category. Check them out here. `
