• Local Rockabilly greats Rumble Club will host their fourth annual ’Billy-themed Christmas party/concert, Greasemas, this Friday at the Southgate House. The Rumblers will be joined by Indy’s Mandy Marie and the Cool Hand Lukes, Pittsburgh’s Highway 13 and local Honky Tonk/Rockabilly heroes Straw Boss. At the show, you’ll also be able to check out booths by Sketch Pad Hotrod Art and Metal Farm magazine, and, always a crowd-pleaser, you can even get a new slick hairdo courtesy of Lucky the Rockabilly Barber. • The fine folks of local label Blue Jordan Records are presenting a holiday show/12th anniversary party this Friday at the Pea Pod Café in Pleasant Ridge. The impressive lineup features Janet Pressley, David Wolfenberger, Mike Helm, Wild Carrot, Liz Bowater, Maurice Mattei, Gwendolyn Speaks, Sharon Udoh and Brandon Dawson. Expect lots of collaboration and good cheer. Music starts at 7 p.m. Admission is $5 or five canned goods to be donated to the City Gospel Mission. (bluejordan.com)

• Master Jazz keyboardist Steve Schmidt returns to The Comet this Friday and Saturday for his popular annual Steve Schmidt Organ Trio Christmas Spectacular. Schmidt will be rocking out his Hammond organ with backing from guitarist Dan Faehnle and drummer Marc Wolfley, while soulful vocalist Eugene Goss will be on hand to sing a few tunes. Music starts at 8:30 p.m. Friday and 9:30 p.m. Saturday. There is no cover charge.

• If Punk Rock is your thang, you might think, “Boo hoo — where’s my holiday party?” Fear not. Local Punk vets SS-20 present the “Daddy’s Drunk on Christmas” holiday extravaganza this Saturday at Northside’s Blue Rock Tavern. The free show will also feature local “real” Punk bands 16 Piece Bucket, Eighty Sixed, Clause 83 and The Oncelers.

• Not enough Punk for your stocking? Then do a little bar-hopping and you can also hit up Kevin and the Octaves’ CD release show at the Southgate House’s Parlour this Saturday. The band is celebrating the release of its Punk Rock Christmas covers CD, Hang Your Stocking Start The Rocking, which includes solid remakes of everything from “Jingle Bells” to “White Christmas.” The band is joined by John Walsh, A Voice Like Rhetoric and Till Plains for the 8:30 p.m. show.

• Local, Grammy-nominated R&B legend Reggie Calloway — whose hits span from his days in Midnight Star to his chart smash “I Wanna Be Rich” to more recent songs performed by NSync and Sugar Ray — will be doing a homecoming concert at the Blue Wisp Jazz Club this Saturday. Calloway (who now lives and works in California) will be joined by a local all-star band, which includes Phil DeGreg, Art Gore, Jim Anderson and Coleman Itzkoff.
