We weren't expecting two days in a row of Justin Bieber news, but here we are.
Just a day after finding out that the Biebs and Tim Hortons are teaming up on special donuts and merchandise, we've learned exactly who will be joining him when he performs in Cincinnati next year — and we're not mad about it.
Heritage Bank Center announced Monday night that rapper Jaden (yes, he of Smith fame) and Colombian-American singer ¿Téo? will open for Bieber during the Cincinnati stop of the COVID-rescheduled "Justice" tour on April 19 at the downtown venue. Tickets are on sale now.
Jaden Smith grew up in his famous father Will's shadow and, like his sister Willow, entered the entertainment business with force. A musician, an actor and an entrepreneur, he has collaborated with Tyler the Creator, Lido, Kid Cudi and more. Smith and Bieber have partnered on a number of songs, including 2020's "Falling for You."
Smith originally was supposed to open for Bieber before the tour was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic but was removed from the rescheduled dates that were announced this summer.
Mateo Arias, who commonly performs as ¿Téo?, has been friends with and a collaborator of both Bieber and Smith for years. The son of Colombian parents, he's an actor and musician, frequently alongside his brother Moises. Arias released his latest album Sol this summer; it features the track "Buzzed" with Willow Smith.
