LISTEN: Homage CVG and Waldo from Cincinnati Team Up with Atlanta-via-Cincy Hip Hop Artist Jermiside for “Power Windows”

The song is the first single from the forthcoming album release, ‘Used Cars,' due later this month from Fort Ancient Records

The prolific Homage CVG has teamed up with his Fort Ancient Records labelmate Waldo From Cincinnati for a new single, “Power Windows,” featuring vocals from Cincy MC Jermiside, who is currently based in Atlanta (check out his work here).

The producers — two of the five behind the Fort Ancient recording collective — collaborated previously on the 2017 Fort Ancient release Grocery Choppin’, which CityBeat ranked as one of the best albums made by Greater Cincinnati artists last year. The vinyl release of the album served as a benefit for Northside's Apple Street Market, a co-op grocery store.

The single is from the forthcoming Homage/Waldo collaborative album Used Cars, which is scheduled for release Sept. 27. Keep an eye on the Fort Ancient Bandcamp page here for more info.

Homage CVG released the album Hacienda late last month. Hacienda featured guest spots from local MC's Vibe-One, CJ the Cynic, Boogie Bang and others.
