Wanna relive the late-'90s DIY scene? Legendary singer-songwriter and feminist activist Ani DiFranco is rolling through Covington on Oct. 15 for a stop at Madison Theater.

DiFranco originally was set to pass through Greater Cincinnati in fall of 2021 in support of her latest album Revolutionary Love, released that year. The tour was postponed due to safety concerns surrounding COVID-19.

This time around, DiFranco is touring in celebration of the 25th anniversary of her seminal live album, Living In Clip. The 1997 album not only cemented her place among the DIY scene but also put her in front of an even wider audience. DiFranco’s record label, Righteous Babe Records, is marking the anniversary by reissuing Living In Clip and making it available on vinyl for the very first time. According to press materials, the record will sport a new album cover and many never-before-seen images from the time.

The 26-date run will take DiFranco across the country and give her yet another chance to connect with her devoted fans. Abraham Alexander will open for DiFranco during her visit to Covington. Tickets start at $38. The show starts at 7:30 p.m. Madison Theater is located at 730 Madison Ave, Covington. Info: madisontheater.com.
