Country stars Little Big Town are embarking on a tour of historic theaters early next year. The Grammy-winning vocal quartet will begin the tour on Jan. 16 — the day before the release of their new album, Nightfall — at Carnegie Hall, which, according to a press release, is the first time a "mainstream Country" act has played the venue since Alan Jackson performed there in 2013.
The Nightfall Tour will also hit The Apollo in New York, The Chicago Theatre, Seattle's Paramount Theatre and Cincinnati's Taft Theatre, where Little Big Town will do a two-night stand beginning on Valentine's Day. Tickets for the group's Feb. 14 and 15 concerts ($29-$109) go on sale this Friday, Sept. 13 at 10 a.m. via ticketmaster.com.
"The record feels kind of cinematic to me, but there's also a lot of beautiful intimate moments," singer Karen Fairchild recently told The Associated Press about the group's decision to do a theater tour. "In a theater, this record is really going to shine."
Last week Little Big Town unveiled Nightfall's latest single, "Over Drinking."
