Despite signing an alleged legally-binding contract promising to never tour again just a few years ago, Mötley Crüe is heading up an ambitious 2020 stadium tour with Def Leppard, Poison and Joan Jett & The Blackhearts.
According to a press release, several of the initial tour dates sold out instantly (in Milwaukee, Atlanta, Seattle, Charlotte, Dallas, Pittsburgh, Detroit, Chicago and Denver), emboldening the groups to add even more shows to the venture.
Those new dates include concerts in San Antonio, Kansas City, St. Louis, Minneapolis, Nashville and Cleveland, plus a July 2 appearance at Cincinnati's Great American Ballpark.
Tickets go on sale Friday, Jan. 17 at 10 a.m.
According to the press release, the tour netted over $90 million in the first weekend tickets went on sale.
So… sorry any mega-Crüe fans who spent their entire life savings to go see their favorite band one last time four years ago!
