"The coolest fucking thing I've ever seen in my life."

That's what a fan says of Big Gigantic's "3D" live show in a video they released after the progressive Electronic music duo's annual Rowdytown festival in 2018 at Red Rocks Amphitheater in Colorado.

It's a way overused buzz word but from the looks of it, the Big Gigantic live experience looks genuinely "immersive." You'll be able to put on some 3D glasses and enjoy the Colorado twosome's innovative sights and dance-insistent sounds in Cincinnati this spring — Big Gigantic's "Free Your Mind 3D Experience" tour is coming to Riverfront Live on April 14.

Tickets go on sale Tuesday, Jan. 21 at 10 a.m. via ticketweb.com.

Boasting a sax-laden EDM sound punctuated by Jazz, Hip Hop and Funk influences, Dominic Lalli and Jeremy Salken recently released its latest single, "Burning Love," which will be featured on their forthcoming album, Free Your Mind. The duo's eighth studio album is due in February.

On their upcoming tour, Big Gigantic is once again raising money for their A Big Gigantic Difference Foundation, which benefits different nonprofits each year. A dollar from every ticket sold goes to ABGDF; get more info on the project at the duo's website.

When CityBeat spoke to Salken in 2017 ahead of a Cincinnati tour stop, he talked about the importance of finding something positive to contribute to society in such a divisive time in American history.

"We’re seeing what’s going on in the world and how things are changing, and if there are different causes, we can help out," Salken said. "There’s so much craziness, we’re just trying to focus it in the right direction to see if we can do something really cool.”

In press materials for the new album, Salken describes a similarly positive outlook and optimistic mentality when talking about Free Your Mind, though the themes seem focussed more on looking inward and self-improvement.

"You can't love anybody until you love who you are first," Salkan says of the LP, which features several special guests, including Jennifer Hartswick, Felly, Ashe and Lyle Divinsky. "Start at the core and go from there. You stop beating yourself up and realize you need to be there for yourself. If you're at one, you're able to pursue those dreams."
