In addition to the May programs, organizers also announced a free community choral showcase in honor of the May Festival’s commissioning legacy and in celebration of Cincinnati as one of America’s choral epicenters. Ensembles will put on 20-minute mini-concerts, which will also showcase 25 new choral works from composers with Luna Composition Lab as part of the festival’s 25 for 25: A New Time for Choral Music commissioning project. While the event is free, organizers recommend registering, which you can do here.

And on Saturday, April 1, the festival will also host a concert, Vaulted Voices, at Hyde Park Community United Methodist Church (1345 Grace Ave., Hyde Park), featuring conductors Robert Porco and Matthew Swanson.
