HOT: Dissension in the Clown Ranks

With the rise of threatening “creepy clown” sightings across the country, it was hard not to wonder, “What does clown-faced Rap duo Insane Clown Posse think about all of this?” Time magazine enabled the answer, running an editorial by ICP’s Violent J. Mr. J didn’t really express much opinion about the clown phenomenon, instead turning the op-ed into an attack on the “real” clowns, like “keystone-cop clowns shooting unarmed citizens,” “racist clowns burning down Islamic centers,” “clowns in the NSA spying on us” and the FBI, which declared ICP fans an organized "hybrid gang."

WARM: The Truth’s Actually Out There?

An unlikely figure emerged in the latest leak of Hillary Clinton’s alleged campaign emails by WikiLeaks — former Blink 182 singer/guitarist Tom DeLonge, who has been ridiculed in the past as a paranoid UFO conspiracy theorist. The leak included what appear to be emails sent from DeLonge to Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta requesting a meeting about DeLonge’s ongoing project exposing the government’s covered-up knowledge about UFOs and extraterrestrial technology. Podesta has previously said he regretted not getting President Obama to release UFO files when he worked for him.

COLD: Trump’s Just Like Beyoncé!

As a litany of professional athletes came forth to let everyone know that “locker room talk” isn’t what Donald Trump thinks it is (in response to Trump’s defense of his indefensible caught-on-tape comments about women), a Trump surrogate tried a different approach to damage control. On CNN, former New York Lieutenant Governor Betsy McCaughey said Hillary Clinton is a hypocrite to criticize Trump’s comments about his freedom to sexually assault women, because she likes Beyoncé, who is just as bad. Her proof? A lyric from the song “Formation”: “When he fuck me good I take his ass to Red Lobster.” Shockingly, Clinton has yet to drop out of the race after McCaughey’s sick burn.
