Greater Cincinnati musician Christian Nicholas Gough of Moonbeau and The Yugos has created his first solo album, Repeating Circles, and is asking fans for help to bring the physical copy to fruition.

Gough has already dropped several singles from the forthcoming album, including “Happier Now” and “Rebel Love."

His Kickstarter, which has a goal of $8,000, will help with the costs of "mixing, mastering, and producing this album, as well as all of the art for the packaging and promotion," he says in the fundraiser description.

“While writing and recording Repeating Circles, I had no idea that this album would turn into a melody for my future self,” Gough says in a release. “Anyone who has been through a serious mental health journey, any heartbreak, or rebirth will resonate with this album. The biggest impact of this Kickstarter not getting funded is delaying a heartfelt message that we could all use right now.”

Repeating Circles is set to be released on Northern Kentucky's Best Friend Records on Jan. 21, 2022.

Thank yous and rewards for funders range from a digital download of the album ($10) to a hand-stamped denim patch ($15) to a private livestream from Gough ($200). The Kickstarter ends Dec. 7.

Gough is playing a free show with Darity at MOTR Pub on Friday, Dec. 10 as part of local indie station Inhailer Radio's "Inhailer Presents" local concert series.
