Multi-Platinum Pop Rock band Matchbox Twenty today announced an extensive 2020 summer tour that includes a Cincinnati stop.
Last year, singer Rob Thomas played Riverbend Music Center's PNC Pavilion. Thomas and his old bandmates will play the big shed at Riverbend this year when Matchbox Twenty comes to town on Aug. 27. The Wallflowers will open the show.
Tickets go on sale this Friday, Jan. 17 at noon via ticketmaster.com.
This is Matchbox Twenty's first tour since they reunited in 2017 to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their debut LP, Yourself or Someone Like You.
“I’m proud to be a part of the greatest pop rock band in the world and I can’t wait to play with them again," Rob Thomas said in a press release. "Stepping on stage with Matchbox and sharing those songs with the fans feels as natural as breathing to me at this point.”
