Riverbend Music Center has announced that the Willie Nelson-headlined Outlaw Music Festival Tour is coming to town June 22.
The tour — which will hit nine cities — began two years ago as a one-off event in Scranton, Pa. featuring Nelson, Neil Young, Sheryl Crow and others. It became a “tour” in 2017 and included the likes of Bob Dylan, Eric Church and The Avett Brothers.
For the Cincinnati stop of this year’s Outlaw Music Festival, Nelson is joined by modern Folk, Americana and Country favorites like The Head and the Heart, Old Crow Medicine Show and Sturgill Simpson. More acts for the Cincinnati date will be announced. (Other artists on the tour include Elvis Costello, Alison Krauss, Brandi Carlile, Ryan Bingham and Nathaniel Rateliff & the Night Sweats.)
Tickets for the June 22 date go on sale March 16 at noon. To sign up for a pre-sale code, click here.
Nelson's new album, Last Man Standing, is due April 27, right before his 85th birthday.
