Cincinnati Synth Pop duo Moonbeau is hosting a special concert this Friday that showcases various facets of Electronic-tinged music.

The Synthcinnati Festival at The Woodward Theater (1404 Main St., Over-the-Rhine, woodwardtheater.com) begins at 8 p.m. with local trio Flocks, who create a compelling Electronic-based sound with elements of Jazz and Hip Hop.

Also performing is Cincinnati duo Skeleton Hands, who conjure a moody and atmospheric mix of Dark Wave and Post Punk.

The lineup also includes Toledo, Ohio Chillwave twosome Bliss Nova.

Cleveland, Ohio singer/songwriter Josh Wilson’s Rick Astley-styled Synth Pop act Summer School rounds out the bill.

Here's the latest Moonbeau music video, for the track "Hair So Wild" from their amazing self-titled debut album.

Synthcinnati will also feature several area clothing, jewelry, art and other vendors, including Rad OTR, Ramblin' Rose Vintage, COVET, Stratford Avenue Thrift, Izzy Gregan, Cherry St. Collective, Girls Rock Cincinnati, Inhailer and Pop Rocket Creations.

Tickets are $10 in advance or $12 day of show. Visit facebook.com/synthcinnati for complete details.
