The woman who widely has been called the "queen of Neo-Soul" is coming back to Cincinnati for the first time since headlining the Cincinnati Funk Fest in 2018.
Erykah Badu, the Grammy Award winning singer, is set to perform at Heritage Bank Center at 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 5, headlining a tour that also includes Goodie Mob and Scarface.
Badu’s stop in the Queen City is a part of a 21-date tour that begins Sept. 11 in Sterling Heights, Michigan. The Dallas native will travel all across the United States before concluding the tour with the show at Heritage Bank Center.
Rolling Stone ranks Badu's 2000 album Mama's Gun as No. 158 on its "500 Greatest Albums of All Time" list, calling Badu "a force of nature."
Badu's tour celebrates the 20th anniversary of Mama’s Gun as well as the 10th anniversary of her project New Amerykah Part Two: Return Of The Ankh and the fifth anniversary of her mixtape But You Caint Use My Phone.
Tickets for the Cincinnati show will be available at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 28, on ticketmaster.com. Tickets will range from $63-$254.
