Rappers J.I.D and Smino will bring co-headlining tour, "Luv is 4Ever," to Cincinnati’s Andrew J Brady Music Center on Tuesday, March 28. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m., Oct. 14.
Both J.I.D and Smino are making waves in hip hop, the likes of which rap fans haven’t seen from new faces in quite some time.
Grammy nominated Atlanta native J.I.D released his first EP, DiCaprio, in 2015. The record caught the eye of J. Cole, who signed him to Dreamville Records under Interscope. From there, it’s been straight to the top for J.I.D, collecting fans and adding his flavor to friends’ records along the way.
Smino, meanwhile, has followed an equally astronomically quick rise to the top. The St. Louis native turned Chicagoan released his first album, blkswn, in 2017. It was quickly picked up by Rolling Stone and hailed as one of the best rap albums of the year. Since making his way onto the hip-hop scene, Smino has amassed more than half a billion streams and there’s no sign of stopping.
The "Luv Is 4Ever" tour kicks off in Seattle, Washington, Jan. 22 and stops in 32 cities along the way.
J.I.D and Smino will be in Cincinnati on March 28, at Andrew J Brady Music Center (25 Race Street, Downtown). Tickets are available starting at 10 a.m. on Oct. 14, at ticketmaster.com.
