On Aug. 23 and 24, the fourth-annual beWILDerfest returns to Urban Artifact in Northside with a lineup that includes several of Cincinnati's finest musical acts, as well as top-of-the-line national/international touring artists like Screaming Females, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, Zach Deputy and Green Jello.
The festival takes place on three stages in and outside of the church turned brewery/club Urban Artifact. The festival continues to grow each year; last year's lineup included national acts like Moon Hooch, Cults and Saintseneca, and this year's bill is highlighted by even more well-known artists.
"It's been very fulfilling to see the festival grow like it has every year," says fest booker Jeremy Moore in a press release. "It's really great to get the opportunity to put local acts on the same bill as nationally recognized bands. The amount of quality eclectic bands here in Cincinnati is almost staggering at times. I could fill out multiple beWILDerfests and still not scratch the surface of what gems lay beneath these hills."
Scott Hand, an Urban Artifact co-owner adds, " beWILDerfest is important to the local music community because the 'boutique festival; is perfect for a city like Cincinnati. We have a huge and diverse fanbase of enthusiasts clamoring for regional and national acts to stop in. By combining those in a unique venue, we can create a growing destination festival that brings exposure to the Cincinnati music community."
