Super-fun, endlessly endearing Pop Punk band The Dollyrots are returning to the Southgate House Revival later this year to kick off their 18-date "Make Me Hot" U.S. tour.

The hyper-melodic group will play the Newport venue on St. Patrick's Day — that's March 17, for those a little rusty on their Irish-esque sorta-holidays.

Tickets are $12 in advance via ticketweb.com or $15 day of show.

The Dollyrots are led by the husband and wife team of Kelly Ogden (vocals/bass) and Luis Cabezas (guitar/vocals). The pair (who take their young kids out on the road with them and seemed destined to become a Partridge Family-style ensemble at some point in the future) had a great 2019. Their latest album, Daydream Explosion, scored a lot of "best of the year" nods, while the album track "Everything" (see below) was deemed "Coolest Song in The World" for 2019 on SiriusXM’s Underground Garage, where Ogden often does DJ slots. The channel is an extension of Little Steven Van Zandt’s long-running Underground Garage radio show, as is Wicked Cool Records, which released Daydream Explosion.

The band's current label marks their latest signing to an imprint with a lot of cred and cool history — they've previously released music through fan Joan Jett's Blackheart Records and Lookout Records, the legendary Punk Pop indie that released early music from influential acts like Green Day and Operation Ivy.
