Two-Day Music Festival Whimmydiddle to Return to Hamilton in August

The popular festival hosted at RiversEdge will feature country and blues singers like Folk duo Shovels & Rope.

Whimmydiddle music festival is returning to Hamilton this year on Aug. 19 and 20.

The popular festival hosted at RiversEdge will feature country and blues singers like headliner Folk duo Shovels & Rope.

The lineup also includes Charley Crockett, Larkin Poe, Sierra Ferrell, Goodbye June, Cole Chaney & Wolfpen Branch, Drayton Farley and Logan Halstead.

Tickets, which are on sale now, range from $50 for a single-day pass, $80 for two-day general admission and $140 for a two-day VIP pass.

As far as COVID-19 protocols go, according to the festival's website, proof of vaccination or negative COVID tests are not required for entry.

Beer, liquor, mixed drinks, soda and water will be available for purchase in the festival but there will be no food available inside. However, per Whimmydiddle’s website, there will be food trucks outside of the venue and reentry will be allowed with wristband identification.

Doors open at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 19 and 3 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 20.
