A week ago CityBeat premiered "Icarus," the first song and video from Cincinnati Hip Hop artists Ronin Halloway and JayBee Lamahj's "Icarus Trilogy." Today you can watch "Elijah," the second part of the trilogy, which was filmed, directed and edited by Bradley Thompson.

The duo will perform the full trilogy live on Feb. 7 at MOTR Pub with local Electronic trio FLOCKS as part of Halloway's first-ever headlining show. (Check back here Feb. 5 for "The Icarus Trilogy" finale, "Paul")

According to a press release, “Icarus relates to the peaks and valleys of mental development. Elijah is a triumphant battle cry, a statement of solidarity. And Paul is almost like a meditation, an acceptance and statement of readiness for the future.”
