The Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra just reposted this video of Cincinnati poet, musician and activist Siri Imani performing her work "Lost Generation" during the 2019 Look Around collaborative event at Washington Park. Look Around — largely inspired by Imani's work — was held to commemorate the CSO's 125th anniversary and was designed to activate the community to see each other, and not look past each other.

The caption from the CSO on YouTube says: "We see you. We hear you. We realize we must do better."

It is intensely moving and powerful and haunting and will, literally, give you goosebumps, if it doesn't make you cry.

If you have not seen it — or heard it — you must watch, and you must listen.
