Good old John McClane (Bruce Willis) is right back in the middle of all bad things. This time, he’s traipsing off to Russia to bring his supposedly wayward son Jack (Jai Courtney) back home, but it turns out that Jack’s the apple that hasn’t fallen far from the family tree because he’s caught up in protecting the free world from terrorists seeking to acquire nuclear arms to cause lots of mass property destruction for profit. It’s a good day and an even better since John and Jack can team up to save us. Now in theaters. (R) Not screened in time for review
