A Portion of Norwood Lateral Will Be Closed This Weekend for Repairs

Crews will be fixing a bridge seam on the eastbound portion of the lateral on Saturday.

A portion of Norwood Lateral will be closed June 5.

Just a friendly FYI for anyone who regularly uses the Norwood Lateral to get from I-71 to I-75 and vice-versa: A portion of the roadway will be closed on Saturday, June 5 for repairs.

Crews will be fixing a bridge seam on the eastbound portion of the lateral, causing the left-hand lane to be closed over Reading Road.

"The lane closure will be in place at the overpass between 3 a.m. and 4 p.m., and traffic will be maintained with arrow boards, signs and traffic cones," says the Ohio Department of Transportation.

Ramps to and from Reading Road will remain open.
