Update: as of March 18, Cincinnati police have identified the victim as 24-year-old Alias Philips.
Cincinnati police say they are on the scene of an incident inside the Target location in Oakley, 3245 Geier Drive.
Police say to avoid the area while officers investigate, adding that they will provide more information soon.
RIGHT NOW: There is an active police investigation happening at the Target in Oakley. There was NOT an active shooter. Previously, the situation was thought to involve an active shooter. Earlier videos from the scene show police cars and firetrucks lining the entrance to the store.
