Jonathan Levine, writer-director of Warm Bodies, makes a second appearance on the 2013 box office charts with All the Boys Love Mandy Lane, a mysterious horror thriller about a good girl (Amber Heard) who gets invited to a weekend party with the cool kids in her high school, but must keep her head when everyone else seems to be losing theirs (for no apparent reason). The surprising fact about the release of Mandy Lane is that the film initially made the rounds back when it was completed in 2006. Better late than never, right, Mandy? Opens Oct. 11 at Kenwood Theatre. (R) Not screened in time for review
