Art: 21c Docent-Led Tours

This is the time of year when families are in town looking for things to do as a group or you want to show your ex-pat friends what amazing things Cincinnati has been up to.

This is the time of year when families are in town looking for things to do as a group or you want to show your ex-pat friends what amazing things Cincinnati has been up to. Luckily, there are cutting-edge cultural institutions like the 21c Museum Hotel that are open 365 days of the year for you to show off. Beyond the museum itself — which stays open to the public and welcomes visitors (for free) into its contemporary art galleries on a daily basis — 21c also provides complimentary docent-led tours of its collections on a weekly basis. Its current shows include Hybridity: The New Frontier, a look at the environmental, economic and technological conditions shaping the earth today, and Queen City of the West, a visual archive of local culture that unravels and interrogates social and political associations.

5 p.m. most Wednesdays and Fridays. Free. 21c Museum Hotel, 609 Walnut St., Downtown, 21cmuseumhotels.com/cincinnati.
