Don’t you love second chances? A month after the Hyde Park Square Art Show, here’s the Autumn Air Art Fair in Clifton, with some of the same fine and funky artists. If you missed the Hyde Park event, or did go and regret not getting that perfect bowl or bracelet, opportunity is knocking. (If you hit all the shows anyway, you’re our type!) Find old and new favorites among approximately 50 exhibitors, and view student work. Ceramics artist Terri Kern of Pendleton Art Center, a juror, shares “don’t-miss” picks: Potter Trina Feldhake makes “bold, spontaneous-looking baskets and platters with a feeling of energy and excitement about them. The natural color feels sumptuous.” Jewelry-maker Lisa Kolber Inglert, an architect, creates “festive and fun” glass beads in her home “that have a real clean feeling about them, an intellectual appeal. They’re elegant and structural at the same time.” Kern says shoppers will want one to 25 of Nancy Hopkins’ little dishes, either to hold a small item or group on a wall. Joanne Honschopp paints scenes of Cincinnati, Tuscany and nature. Get close, Kern says, to see the sculptural texture she adds using a palette knife. Free. 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday.
