Every spring, the University of Cincinnati opens its doors to hundreds of visitors who might never have a reason to go on campus were it not for a family member or friend graduating from the College of Design, Architecture, Art and Planning. The school’s annual DAAPworks exhibition features the creative output/undergraduate work by Fine Art graduates in the Aronoff Center for Design and Art (corner of Martin Luther King Drive and Clifton Avenue on UC’s campus) and the University Galleries (628 Sycamore St., Downtown), but one can find the work of various programs from DAAP’s graduating class of 2013 displayed throughout the building, including those in the Architecture, Art Education, Community Planning, Fashion Design, Fine Arts, Graphic Communication Design, Horticulture, Industrial Design, Interior Design, Urban Planning and Urban Studies programs.

DAAPworks is free and open to the public, offering viewers a glimpse of the capstone projects submitted by graduates, for which many of them toiled months if not years to successfully complete. Go get inspired!

Opening reception: 5-9 p.m. April 23. Free. 2600 Clifton Ave., University of Cincinnati, Clifton, daap.uc.edu/galleries.html
