Some artists make work every single day, a ritualistic endeavor with cumulative results that often document the passage of time and the daily life of the artist. Everyday, an exhibition of art that centers in this kind of daily practice, is on view at the Clifton Cultural Arts Center. From photographs by Liz Kauffman that document her daily wear of the same dress each season to a canvas that Skip Cullen paints with a coat of black latex each day to a series of daily sky photographs Stacy Searcy started three years ago, these objects serve as visual diaries, artifacts that preserve the artists’ existence or chart particular moments in space and time. Through April 25. Get gallery details and find nearby bars and restaurants here.
