Conceptual artist Geoff Hargadon’s street art project, Cash For Your Warhol, grew out of the predatory signs the wealth-management advisor increasingly saw after the financial crisis in 2009. Boston-based Hargadon contacted the actual company who makes the “cash for your…” signs in Oklahoma, had “Cash for Your Warhol” printed up with his phone number and has been placing the signs out on the street ever since. For the Cincinnati iteration of Cash for Your Warhol, Hargadon will focus on the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky with messages proclaiming “Fund Your Startup!” The opening at BLDG coincides with UpStart (4-7 p.m. at 112 Pike St., Covington), a networking event to connect entrepreneurs with resources.

6:30 p.m. artist talk; 7-10 p.m. opening reception. Through Oct. 8. Free. 30 W. Pike St., Covington, Ky., bldgrefuge.com
