While there are plenty of artists who imbibe alcohol during their creative process, few are quite as blatant about it as Drunk Music Reviews’ John Sebastian and Caitlin Behle. The premise is to get on the same level as the crowd to really experience the music, which naturally involves drinking.

According to their website, “Drunk Music Reviews is exactly what it sounds like. We get drunk and review shows, and then turn the reviews into illustrations.” Illustrator Sebastian draws the imagery and Behle, a former WOXY DJ/senior contributor with local music blog Each Note Secure, writes the words (typically via Tweets), which tend toward the humorously sarcastic.

On Final Friday, Smartfish Studio & Sustainable Supply on Main Street hosts an exhibition of Sebastian’s illustrations with the artist doing live caricature sketches during the opening. There will also be a Drunk Music Reviews-curated playlist and, as the Facebook invite says, “Booze, obviously.”

6 p.m. Free. Smartfish Studio & Sustainable Supply, 1301 Main St., Over-the-Rhine, eachnotsecure.com.
