To honor the artist Edward Wolfley, who is now 90-years-old and formerly taught at the University of Cincinnati’s College of Design, Architecture, Art and Planning, his son Marc and Marc’s wife, Lisa Kallman, have organized a retrospective of drawings and paintings at the Clifton Cultural Arts Center. There are several poetic connections to the show: Wolfley raised his family in Clifton and Marc — a musician — attended the old Clifton School that now is the CCAC. Kallman, an artist and writer, also studied with Wolfley.

Opens Monday. Artist’s reception 6-8 p.m. May 20. Through May 27. Free. 3711 Clifton Ave., Clifton, cliftonculturalarts.org
