Interdisciplinary artist and current Guggenheim Fellow Chris Doyle presents a lecture Friday evening to coincide with the opening of his current exhibition at the 21c Museum Hotel, Hybridity: The New Frontier. Doyle will explore artistic influences of Romanticism and Surrealism in his lecture, referencing his own work as well as art historical traditions, to trace the ways in which he and other artists have “generated the promise and peril of the digital age.”
