Thunder-Sky, Inc. curators and co-founders Bill Ross and Keith Banner, assisted by Matt Distel from The Carnegie in Covington and Melanie Derrick of 1305 Gallery in Over-the-Rhine, have juried an exhibition of paintings, sculptures, drawings and other handmade art donated to the Ohio Valley Goodwill over the course of the past year. “The whole purpose of working with Goodwill is to treat the works we come across with respect and dignity, in order to find some kind of meaning/redemption in them that goes beyond kitsch and into another realm,” Banner says.
