Summer days should be full of outdoor pleasures, artful experiences and activities that energize and relax. Northside serves all this up and more this Saturday with Art in the Park at Jacob Hoffner Park. From 11 a.m.-7 p.m. the park will be packed with art by more than 60 different artists and more than 50 booths full of affordable, handmade work. Visual artists will be joined by hula-hoop demonstrations at 2 p.m., a Wump Mucket puppet show at 4:30 p.m. and Janice Sunflower’s native flute performances scattered throughout the day. Some of Cincinnati’s favorite food trucks will join in the mayhem, including Café de Wheels, New Orleans To Go and Habanero Latin Fare. The art festival is free and open to the public, rain or shine.
