Art can be aesthetical, conceptual and traditional, and once a year it gets angry, loud, political and joyous — all under one roof. SOS ART returns for its seventh year with more than 200 visual artists, literary artists, musicians, performers and school children participating in the six-day event.
Creator Saad Ghosn has a track record for encouraging artists to be activists for change and for bringing the community together in sociopolitical dialogue.
The six-day itinerary includes poetry readings, workshops, musical performances and potluck receptions. Through June 7 at the Art Academy of Cincinnati, 12th and Jackson Sts., Over-the-Rhine. Get details here.
