Thom Shaw, the renowned and beloved Cincinnati African-American artist who passed away in July, had his first-ever solo show at Hyde Park's Miller Gallery in 1973. As a goodbye tribute to him, the gallery is hosting WEBEJAMMIN, a show of Jazz-inspired vibrant, geometric abstract paintings, through Sept. 22.

Shaw loved the music of such Jazz giants as Louis Armstrong, Dizzy Gillespie and Wynton Marsalis, as well as the Reggae music of the band Steel Pulse.

Miller Gallery is in Hyde Park Square at 2715 Erie Ave. 513-871-4420.
