The British are coming! Actually, the warnings have sounded too late, because they’ve already stormed the walls of The BLDG gallery in Covington. International artist collective The London Police have arrived for their inaugural show of 2010, The London Police Ride Again, opening 8-11 p.m. Friday. In addition to the exhibition opening, which will feature large-scale canvases, screen prints, an intimate TLP Cinema experience and probably a few more surprises, these self-proclaimed “geezers” will also be speaking at the Art Academy Thursday, March 18 from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Both the exhibition and lecture are free and open to the public. Don’t miss your chance to see these “pivotal voices in the history of street art” live and in person!
