Put some Samba in your step by fluttering on down to the Krohn Conservatory’s 16th annual butterfly show. The event provides a rare opportunity to celebrate culture, nature and the beauty of the butterfly. It’s not every day that you can interact with 16,000 of those pretty little winged creatures, but at the butterfly show, you can — seriously, the exhibit is actually open every day. The butterflies represent more than 100 species of the South American region and, in the spirit of this year’s theme, guests will be able to learn about Brazil’s culture and rainforests throughout the visit.

Call us cliché to say there’s something for everyone, but this event boasts family-friendly activities each day followed by adult-only happy hours on select Fridays with live music and complimentary Samba dance lessons. Fun fact: Plastic bottles and other recycled materials from past shows at the conservatory were used to decorate for this year’s event, including the Samba Queen mounted outside the exhibit. Come bask in the beauty of the butterflies of Brazil any day from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. at the Krohn Conservatory in Cincinnati’s Eden Park before the opportunity flies away June 26.
