Metro buses feature special Bengals Super Bowl messaging.

While the Super Bowl inspires its own slew of bets (with some gambling sites saying the Bengals are the underdog), we'd say it's a pretty safe wager to assume a large majority of Cincinnatians will be drinking on Sunday before, during and after the Bengals face off against the Los Angeles Rams.

And since drinking and driving don't mix, Metro and Access paratransit services are going fare-free on Sunday, Feb. 13 "in celebration of the Cincinnati Bengals’ historic season and trip to Super Bowl LVI — and to provide safe transportation to and from watch parties throughout the region," reads a release.

“What an exciting time to call Cincinnati our hometown,” Metro CEO and General Manager Darryl Haley says in a release. “As a life-long Bengals fan, I’m thrilled we can provide bus service fare-free, so we can all come together safely to celebrate such an extraordinary moment in Queen City history.”

Buses and transit centers will also be boasting some Bengals spirit with pro-team messages on their destination boards.

If you happen upon a Bengals Metro — and climb aboard dressed in your Bengals gear — take a selfie with the signage and tag Metro for the opportunity to win some swag.
