Cincinnati Police Department officials say they are searching for a suspect involved in a bank robbery on Valentine's Day.

District 2 officers say they responded to a report of a bank robbery around 4 p.m. Feb. 14, 2021, at the Fifth Third Bank location in the 3700 block of Paxton Avenue, located inside the Hyde Park Kroger.

Witnesses say the suspect approached the teller and handed them a note with a demand for money, according to CPD.

Officials say the suspect fled on foot out the front door of the building and into the parking lot with an undetermined amount of money.

The suspect is described by police as a white man between 25 and 35 years old, about 6 feet tall or a little taller, with a medium/heavy build. At the time (eight months ago) he was wearing a brown knit cap, blue jeans, a blue or black jacket, gray gym shoes and a camouflage mask.

Police initially posted this information after the crime took place in February, however they posted it again Oct. 27.

CPD is asking anyone with information about the robbery to call the Financial Crimes Squad at 513-352-3542
