Cincinnati’s suburbs are getting some love from a relocation publication.

Niche has released its “Best Places to Live in Ohio” list for 2021, and Greater Cincinnati is a big part of the top 20.

Madeira comes in at No. 3 with four and a half stars (out of five) from current residents. A suburb to Cincinnati’s northeast, Madeira gets an A+ as its “Overall Niche Grade”, an A+ for its public schools, an A in housing, A+ in “Good for Families,” B+ for nightlife and B- for diversity. The median estimated home value in the area is $294,400, and the median monthly rent is $1,336.

Madeira is the top place to live in the Cincinnati area, Niche says. Niche also names Madeira as the No. 12 best place to raise a family in the nation and No. 2 in Ohio.

Back on the “Best Places to Live in Ohio” list, Montgomery is No. 8, followed by Blue Ash at No. 9, Wyoming at No. 11 and Mariemont at No. 12. The Cincinnati suburbs all have four and a half stars.

The top 20 continues with Sixteen Mile Stand at No. 15, Mason at No. 16 and Beckett Ridge at No. 18.

The “Best Places to Live in Ohio” list is part of Niche’s “2021 Places to Live Rankings,” which uses statistics and expert insights to rank geographical areas based on schools, diversity, cost of living and more. Read all of Niche’s lists.
