New York Rep. Michael Grimm on Dec. 29 announced that he is resigning from Congress effective Jan. 5, according to the Huffington Post. The announcement came less than a week after the Republican pleaded guilty to one count of felony tax fraud. His plea carries a maximum sentence of three years in prison. World +1
