Senate restaurant in Over-the-Rhine angered LGBT activists by offering a hotdog named after Olympic athlete Bruce Jenner, who recently announced a transition to life as a transgender woman. The restaurant billed the item as the “Bruce Jenner 2.0: part hot dog, part taco, pure awesomeness.” Senate has since apologized for the promotion. Cincinnati -1

A major earthquake in Nepal left at least 5,000 dead, 10,000 injured and many more homeless. The country has declared three days of mourning in the aftermath of the tragedy. World -1 

Tens of thousands in Baltimore have taken to the streets after the police-custody death of Freddie Gray, a 28-year-old black man. While much of the protest has been peaceful, there have also been fires, looting and vandalism in the city. World -1
