An architecture and planning group in London has plans to transform stretches of the city’s abandoned tube tunnels into bike paths. The project, dubbed The London Underline, is focused on two unused tunnels that run beneath London’s prime real estate. Cincinnati’s streetcar project has prompted upscale condo developer Greiwe Development to build new condo units along the tracks, or “anywhere two blocks from the streetcar,” according to company president Rick Greiwe. The company’s primary focus will be construction of condo units downtown in the next 10 years, which Greiwe says will attract both baby boomers and young people. Cincinnati +2
The number of drunk drivers on the road has declined by almost a third since 2007, but drug use on the road is rising, according to new reports from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. A 2014 survey found that nearly one in four people on the road tested positive for a drug that endangered themselves or others, such as marijuana or prescription pills. World -1
Major League Baseball commissioner Rob Manfred said he might be willing to reinstate former Reds star Pete Rose back into baseball, opening the door for the Hit King to finally enter the Hall of Fame.
