“I’m not sure I’m funny now,” comedian Sam Morril says when asked if he was always funny. “I know people who kill when they’re with their friends because they a have all these inside jokes. But strangers don’t care about your inside jokes, you have to engage with them.” Regardless of his feelings on the matter, Morril has managed to excel at comedy, having won a March Madness-style comedy competition at Comix comedy club in New York in 2010, performed at a Friars Roast and been named “one of the four funniest in New York” by The Daily News.
