The mission of Women Writing for (a) Change is to nurture and celebrate the individual voice through the art of writing. On Tuesday night, the organization will host an evening of female voices with a cast of women comics at Go Bananas.

“I am a writer in Women Writing for (a) Change and suggested that it would be a good fundraiser,” says Teri Foltz, who has been doing stand-up around the region for about seven years. “I knew that Celeste Brott, also a member, was a comic as well.” Joining Foltz and Brott will be Carla Brittain, Ally Bruener, Angie Dallas, Molly Stephens, Eileen Tull and Sweet Biscuit.

The organization, which has provided a positive creative environment for women authors for 21 years, has its own building on Plainfield Road in Montgomery. More information can be found at womenwriting.org. 8 p.m. $20. Go Bananas, 8410 Market Place Lane, Montgomery, gobananascomedy.com.
