For more than two decades, artistic director Ronen “Roni” Koresh, an Israeli native who immigrated to the U.S. in 1983, has been creating dances in his inimitable, highly expressive signature style. His Philadelphia-based ensemble, Koresh Dance Company, eloquently fuses techniques from modern, ballet and jazz dancing that ignites a fresh, explosive physicality. Much of the program’s works are set to classical music: Think Bach, Mozart’s Moonlight Sonata, plus Koresh’s acclaimed Bolero set to Maurice Ravel’s famous score.

Presented by Contemporary Dance Theater in partnership with The Mayerson JCC of Cincinnati.

8:30 p.m. Saturday; 3 p.m. Sunday. $27-$32. Aronoff Center Jarson-Kaplan Theater, 650 Walnut St., Downtown, cincinnatiarts.org or cdt-dance.org.
