Shepard Fairey's Obey

Those stickers of Andre the Giant were made by someone, and so was the Obama “Hope” poster. That someone is contemporary artist Shepard Fairey. The street artist and DJ returns to the Contemporary Arts Center this week to spin a few records and hang out with CAC members. Some of Fairey’s work can be seen throughout the Cincinnati area, including two murals in Northside. The party is for CAC members only, but memberships can still be purchased for $25-$125. Doors open at 8 p.m. Thursday with a chance to purchase a limited edition Fairey print, and at 9 p.m. Fairey will DJ a dance party. Contemporary Arts Center, 44 E.
